That’s a wrap ! My solo exhibition, Maybe Grief is Yellow, finished yesterday. The weather couldn’t have been better over the course of the show so the light in the space was ideal. Absolutely packed and buzzing opening evening, I was delighted. Lots of lovely, interesting exchanges over the weekend and wonderful to look at the work outside of the grubby studio and in a clean, white gallery space where it always becomes charged with a fresh new energy, I find. Now, time to breathe and a chance to reflect on the show and the work. Already some self-critical thoughts but that’s surely a positive process. Full catalogue of works in the show as well as install shots and a short video here.

For 4 weeks I’ll be on a residency at Cyprus College of Art in the village of Lempa, just outside Paphos. I did a residency here in the summer of 2013 and I’m so happy to be back here in this special place; so quiet and calm, but vibrant with the collective energy of other artists-in-residence and so conducive to reflection and productivity.
